Bocce ball courtLocated between Luberon and Alpilles, less than 1 hour from Marseille airport, 4km from the Cavaillon motorway exit, our cottage is located in the town of Isle sur la Sorgue, well known for its antique shops, international antiques fairs during the Easter and August 15 weekends. You will be won over by its market every Sunday in the morning, and its second-hand dealers in the afternoon!
You can discover, 5km away, the Fontaine de Vaucluse and its cool spring which feeds the Sorgue. 20 km away in Avignon you will visit the Palace of the Popes built in the 14th century by Benedict XII and Clement VI. Its International Theater Festival, in and out, in July, is known all over the world!
The ochres of Roussillon, the Château de Lacoste and the many surrounding villages (Bonnieux, Ménerbes, Gordes, Lourmarin (Camus) ...) will not leave you indifferent!
On the other side of the Durance facing the Luberon, the Alpilles range begins (East-West), Eygalières and its lively Friday morning market as well as St Rémy de Provence welcome you. Les Baux and the light quarries will surprise you.
The many possible hikes in Vaucluse (Colorado Provencal, Ventoux, Dentelles de Montmirail, etc.) as well as landscapes as different as the Camargue and the Alpilles will allow you to discover the diversity of Nature
Mediterranean, its Provençal cultures, and its numerous wine estates which characterize it so well!
