Anna's house is an old stone house, restored in the traditional way (slate roof, old fireplaces, etc.) with ecological materials (hemp, cork, chestnut parquet floors, etc.) in a secluded location, access by track of 800m from town. The rooms are bright and spacious.
The view of the Ardèche Cévennes is breathtaking, absolute calm.
A spring water basin below the gîte provides freshness during hot hours.
A true haven of peace, Anna's house is a place where you feel good, ideal for recharging your batteries after a hectic city life.
Friends of authenticity, Anna's house is made for you!
Completely renovated in 2007/2008 in the traditional Ardèche style, this 17th century house proudly sports one of the last slate roofs (flat stones similar to slates) in the region.
It has 3 carefully decorated bedrooms: two double bedrooms and one bedroom with three beds.
The spacious and bright living room, like the bedrooms, has magnificent chestnut parquet floors, wood emblematic of the Ardèche.
The spacious and bright kitchen-dining room also has a wood and electric stove.
Have a good time on the slate terrace, in the shade of the wisteria, and contemplate the view of Mont Lozère, lulled by the song of the cicadas and your glass of aperitif.
Soak up the sun on a deckchair on the house's adjoining property.
Then, if you feel like it, go take a nap in a hammock in the shade of the trees, or at the edge of the natural spring water pool.
When darkness comes, take advantage of the exceptional sky, far from any light pollution, and admire the awe-inspiring spectacle of a magnificent starry sky.
The Ardèche is worth the detour, if you like the calm, the beauty of nature and the great outdoors you will not be disappointed.
