At this address, everything is there for you to enjoy an idyllic stay, for a long weekend or during a real vacation. The rental is located in Le Rouget-Pers, a town very close to Lake Saint-Etienne-Cantalès and Aurillac, the historic capital of the umbrella. In this 120 m² villa, you are likely to have a good time with friends, family members or work colleagues, far from the urban bustle.

It is more precisely a large, comfortably equipped residence, comprising 3 large bedrooms, both with 2 140 cm beds and a 160 cm bed. Thus, up to 6 guests can be accommodated there in the best conditions.

Although it benefits from a calm and green environment and is not overlooked, this accommodation has the advantage of being close to several shops.

In winter, there is no doubt that you will enjoy sharing a meal not far from the fireplace, in a large, nicely decorated living room. During the spring and summer periods, it is necessarily outside that it is pleasant to drag on.

In the middle of the day, soak up the colors on one of the deckchairs set up in the superb garden, take advantage of the barbecue to taste the best Auvergne meats, before meeting up under the covered terrace at nightfall.

Note that you are provided with baby equipment if you need it. However, animals are not accepted.

The architectural heritage around Le Rouget
The large closed garage of our villa near Aurillac allows you to park your vehicle in peace, as well as to leave bicycles and other possible equipment there. From our accommodation in Le Rouget, it is possible to reach various sites worthy of interest. Opt in particular for a getaway to Saint-Céré, in which there are a succession of superb half-timbered houses and where you can visit the walnut oil mill.

In Marcolès, all you have to do is stroll through the alleys and contemplate the porches to immerse yourself in a medieval atmosphere. 2 km from this town labeled “small city of character”, the natural megaliths of Faulat constitute a geological curiosity that leaves no stone unturned. If you feel like it, then go explore other attractive destinations in the area, located a good half hour from our vacation rental. Among them, we suggest Conques and its Romanesque-style church and Loubressac, which overlooks the Bave, Dordogne and Cère valleys.

It's hard to finish this section without mentioning Aurillac, the prefecture of Cantal, which stands out among other things for its town center where various architectural styles combine. A detour to the Château d'Aurillac is a must, this fortress having the particularity of housing the very informative Museum of Volcanoes.

As a first activity, let yourself be tempted by a fishing trip in the lake surrounding the Moulin du Teil site.

Your catches, which we hope will be numerous, you will have the opportunity to store them in the mini fridge which is located in the basement of our holiday home, in the laundry room. To cool off when the temperature rises, head for the Rouget swimming pool - which includes a large pool, a paddling pool and water games - and Lake Saint-Etienne-Cantalès, a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Do you want to stretch your legs after a generous meal?

From the banks of this majestic body of water, we find the start of the Fraulières trail, which allows you, among other things, to observe the Ribeyres viaduct.

Near Sansac-de-Marmiesse, some of our guests perfect their swing on an enchanting course, recognized by fans of the genre in Auvergne. For thrill seekers, we also recommend going karting, also located in Pers.
