Hiking trailsA former farm outbuilding that we renovated to make a gentle, comfortable retreat after falling in love with this authentic, peaceful, unspoilt corner of nature with a beautiful view over the meadows and the Monts d'Ardèche.

- Ground floor:
- living room / kitchen, with sofa, wood-burning cooker, cooker / fridge / kitchen utensils (no microwave or dishwasher)
- bathroom with shower / washbasin / WC and washing machine
- Mezzanine: sleeping area, double bed (140cm), desk, chest of drawers
Access to the mezzanine is via a small "meunier" staircase (access also possible from outside).
- Outside: terrace and 6000 m² of unfenced land
No television or Wi-Fi, but there is a 4G network.
Heating with wood-burning stove and electric heater, included in the rental price.
The area around the house is dedicated to nature, with its meadows, forests, ridges and volcanic outcrops.
The gîte is close to the Mont Mézenc and Gerbier-de-Joncs sites of interest.
Location: Auberge in the village 2km away, all shops and restaurants 10 minutes away in Les Estables.
In summer, there's swimming in the lakes of Saint-Martial or Issarlès, or in the river, fishing and mushroom-picking for enthusiasts and, of course, hiking, as the area is at the heart of numerous signposted walking and mountain-biking trails, and is also on the route of the ‘l'Ardèchoise’ cycle race. The cottage is located in the hamlet of Echamps, 2 km from Borée, towards Chaneac.
Arriving at the entrance to Echamps, there is a path that goes left in front of the garbage containers.
Take it and keep the bottom path. At 100 m is the cottage.

"Fabuleux"
Chalet est vraiment super ! Aménagement fonctionnel et bien pensé, efficace il y tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin pour cuisiner, lire… La déco est soignée et la chambre un nid douillet avec une vue sur la nature. L’environnement extérieur est magnifique avec une vue superbe, lever de soleil imprenable et une orientation sud qui permet de bien en profiter … bref vous l’avez compris je valide et vais y retourner très très vite je l’espère ;)

"Douillet havre de paix"
Maisonnette très agréable, un cocon douillet avec son poële et sa mezzanine perchée avec vue directe sur les étendues de nature. L'environnement est également assez magique, à l'écart du monde et de l'agitation. Un emplacement très bien centré au coeur et à portée des montagnes emblématiques du coin. Top pour démarrer à pied (ou à vélo) de la maison.

Petit chalet en pierres, intérieur bois, chaleureux, adorable, joliment meublé et décoré, confortable, en pleine nature, au calme. Idéal pour randonner et visiter les hauts plateaux d’Ardèche, villages… un petit bonheur.
