Hiking trailsWelcome to a completely renovated old barn. Located in a small village of around a hundred inhabitants, quiet, in the Auxois countryside, in the heart of Burgundy, but close to all shops (10 km).
Ideal for a quiet holiday, with nature to recharge your batteries: roe deer, stags and deer, foxes, badgers and, for bird and bat lovers, a variety of species to see and listen to in all seasons in this area Natura 2000.
Green in spring, fresh in summer, golden in autumn, when the forests take on their beautiful colors...
Come and spend a few days of rest and a change of scenery with family or friends in our beautiful region.
There you will find plenty of cultural visits, sporting and leisure activities:
- climbing sites of Saffres (6 km), Hauteroche (15 km) and Géligny (10 km). Climbing instructor in the town.
- hiking or mountain biking, equestrian center and swimming pool 10 km away, tree climbing 20 km away
- Cycle route (especially along the Burgundy canal a few kilometers away)
- possibility of renting bikes in the town or going on bike rides or gourmet walks in the vineyards
- Chailly-sur-Armançon golf course 20 km
- fishing in river or lake
- Lakes of Grosbois, Pont and Panthier with water activities nearby, Parc du Morvan and its lakes 40 km away…

From the village of Avosnes, follow the Pataud signs. At the exit of the village, you will take the street which goes down to the right. You will arrive at Le Pataud. Turn left going down. The cottage is the house on the corner on your right. You can park in the gravelled courtyard.
