Insurance must be purchased by the customer from an insurance broker or agent. The deposit will normally be forfeited and a claim will have to be made against the insurance.
In the event that the client cancels the reservation after confirmation, the deposit will normally be forfeited even if the client rebooks another property with PF&C.
In this case, the deposit for the alternative property must be paid. If the cancellation is made by the guest because one or more of the property's amenities are unavailable, all monies paid by the guest will be returned less any expenses incurred by PF&C in connection with the reservation and cancellation thereof.
If cancellation is received in writing by PF&C at least EIGHT WEEKS before the start of the rental, the Customer will not be liable for payment of the balance of the rental charges. If a cancellation is made within eight weeks of the start of the rental, the Client will be liable to pay the balance of the rental, unless the Owner rents the property again.
It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that any cancellation is made within the time limits indicated.
