Gîte Santenay-les-Bains

In the land of great wines, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Beaune, Maranges, Santenay, Hautes Côtes de Beaune… it's in MAZENAY that we welcome you all year round (tourists, athletes, bikers, spa guests…)
Located upstairs and with a total surface area of 60 m², you will have access to a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers and free toiletries, a bedroom (4 people: 1 double bed and 2 twin beds), a relaxing lounge with flat-screen satellite TV.

Our house is a former sisters' school from the end of the 19th century, ideally located in a calm and relaxing environment.
However, the cottage remains close to the big cities of Beaune, Autun, Le Creusot, Montchanin and Chalon-sur-Saône and at the gates of Morvan (Mont Beuvray, Vézelay, Lac des Settons).
Housed in the old sisters' apartment, our cottage welcomes you for a relaxing stay among vineyards and pastures.
We will be at your disposal to make your stay a "timeless" break.
Upon arrival, you can order refreshments or taste Burgundy wine.
On order, we can prepare a delicious and hearty breakfast entirely homemade, bread, pancakes, jams with fruit from the garden.

You can go hiking nearby (starting point for hikes and climbing at the foot of Mount Rome), greenway nearby or enjoy the garden and the property (18000 m²).
Beaune is 26 km from the cottage, while Chalon-sur-Saône is 30 km away.
The nearest airport is Dole-Jura Airport, 90 km away.

There is no shortage of activities in Burgundy: hiking, climbing, visits to fun places or places steeped in history: Cluny abbey, Hospices de Beaune, châteaux: Couches Marguerite de Bourgogne, la Rochepôt or Sully.
Tree climbing in Givry, the Combes park and its many attractions in Le Creusot, Beaune on the beach side (natural swimming), visit to medieval cellars (Patriarche, Bouchard, etc.)
Bike rides in the vineyards.
