Envy of calm and nature ...
Jérôme and Béa are happy to welcome you to their fully renovated cottage for 4 people.
It is located in the town of Raucoules (Haute-Loire), 845m above sea level, 45 minutes from Saint-Etienne and 40 minutes from Puy-en-Velay by car.
This shed dates from the 19th century and adjoins a much older part of the farm probably dating from the 17th century.
Located on the edge of the woods, this is the last home of the place called "Martin". Ideal for relaxing, strolling and picking around or go hiking with family or friends.
This studio cabin, about 30 m², well equipped and very comfortable, is located on a large wooded plot (3100 m²). Its large terrace (20 m²) away from all eyes offers a magnificent view of the surrounding forests ...
The interior is composed of a done up kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, plate induction, microwave), 1 room (1 bed 160), room of water, toilet, corner lounge with 1 convertible sofa in 1 bed 180.
Floor heating.
TV, WiFi, free internet.
The cottage has an independent access, parking spaces.
Possibility of equipment loan for baby (cot and high chair, changing mattress ...) and various equipment (barbecue, raclette oven, pierrade).
At your disposal: board games, boules game, garden games for children. Library. Snowshoes during snow.
All shops and services in the surrounding villages: Montfaucon 2.5 km (market on Wednesday), Dunières 8 km and Riotord (market on Friday), Tence, Lapte, Yssingeaux or Saint-Romain-Lachalm (farmers' market on Friday).

- 5 minutes by car, the greenway with moderate relief offers about 40 km walkable by foot, bike, scooter or roller skate ...
- the velorail du Velay, starting from Dunières at 8 km, an adventure through wild landscapes on a mountain railway (viaducts, tunnels and long descents). The climb is done by tourist train and the descent in vélorail!
- the Raucoules Tourist Train in Saint-Agrève. Discover the landscapes comfortably thanks to three old locomotives which take the railway rehabilitated by enthusiasts. Departure at 5 minutes by car!
- swimming at the Dam Lavalette (departmental center of water sports), 10 minutes by car
- Devesset Lake 30 minutes' drive away
- the blue lake at the foot of a volcano in Champclause at 28 km

ARRIVING BY SAINT-ÉTIENNE
- follow the RN88 towards Puy-en-Velay, pass Firminy, Saint-Ferréol d'Auroure, Pont-Salomon (staying on the N88). After the viaduct, at the top of the coast, take the exit "D471, La Chapelle d'Aurec, Séauve sur Semène, Saint-Didier en Velay".
- At the next two roundabouts, follow "La Séauve sur Semène" (D12)
- At La Séauve sur Semène, at the roundabout take the 1st exit direction "Saint-Pal de Mons" (D500)
- cross Saint-Pal de Mons, follow "Montfaucon" (D500)
- after a few kilometers (laces in the valley of Dunière), recovery on the other side. Arriving on the plateau, turn right towards "Raucoules" (D64)
- arrived in Raucoules, cross the village bypassing the church on the right, follow "Yssingeaux" (D64)
- leave the village, after a few hundred meters, at the crossroads with a stone cross in the middle, turn right "Lapte, Treches, Sawmill" (D66 but not indicated)
- after about 1 km, turn right towards "Genevrière, Chazelet, Martin, Reynier"

- cross Verne, Lachaud, then after the radar (beware!) turn left direction "Raucoules" (D64)
- after a few hundred meters, at the crossroads with a stone cross in the middle, turn left before the cross "Lapte, Treches, Scierie" (D66 but not indicated)
- after about 1 km, turn right towards "Genevrière, Chazelet, Martin, Reynier, l'Aubergîte"

- go through Montfaucon en Velay
To get there, you have the choice after Davézieux:
1- Annonay, Villevocance, Vocance, Saint-Julien Vocance, Saint Bonnet the Cold (D82 or D519-D121-D206-D121-D105)
2- Boulieu lès Annonay, Saint-Marcel lès Annonay, Bourg-Argental, Saint-Sauveur Street, Riotord (D82 / D820-D1082-D503-D501)
A small preference for the 2nd solution but the 2 are equal.
- cross Montfaucon direction "Puy en Velay, Yssingeaux" (D501 / D105)
- At the exit of Montfaucon, at the top of the coast after the speed bumps, DO NOT TAKE the direction of Raucoules, continue direction "Le Puy en Velay, Yssingeaux" *
- after about 1 km, turn right towards "Raucoules" (D64)
- after a few hundred meters, at the crossroads with a stone cross in the middle, turn left before the cross "Lapte, Treches, Scierie" (D66 but not indicated)

"Un lieu enchanteur"
Très beau gîte super bien équipé et décoré avec goût, au coeur de la nature, avec une terrasse surplombant la forêt. A proximité de la via Fluvia , ce très beau coin de Haute Loire est un paradis pour le vélo et la marche. Cerise sur le gâteau, les hôtes, Jérôme et Béatrice, sont particulièrement sympathiques, disponibles et accueillants. Nous avons adoré séjourner dans ce lieu enchanteur. Merci beaucoup !

"Séjour inoubliable"
Une région magnifique qui offre des activités nature et de la tranquillité sans affluence touristique. Le gîte est complètement à l'image de cet environnement : un "bout du monde" avec la qualité des prestations, et un accueil sympathique, qui rendent le séjour très agréable. Ce qui permet de profiter pleinement des chemins de randonnées que ce soit à pied ou à vélo avec, entre autres, la voie verte "Via Fluvia" qui passe à proximité.
