Gîte "l'accordéon"

This old Auvergne farmhouse has remained authentic, with its not very high ceilings, we appreciate the heat given off by the stove, but also the freshness which reigns there in summer (no need for air conditioning).

This accommodation of approximately 40 m² is an apartment (non-smoking) on the ground floor of a main residence.
Animals may be accepted under certain conditions (see with the owners).

It is composed of an independent entrance, it has a main room with kitchen and living room (sofa bed), a bedroom with a 140x190 bed (possibility of adding a folding bed for free), adjoining the bathroom and WC, a small veranda and an outdoor area with garden furniture (in summer).

The outdoor courtyard is ideal for parking or simply a quiet corner for the children. This accommodation is ideal for 2 people (4 maximum).

You will also have at your disposal the basic necessities: salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar, coffee filter, detergent, dishwashing product, sponges, dishcloth, hand towels, mop.

Our village is located in the countryside, 870 m above sea level in the town of PALLADUC (63 Puy de Dôme). No crowds, no heavy traffic, but dogs and cats are part of the environment.

Beautiful walks are available to you directly at the gates of the gîte, (maps can be lent to you).

- The lake of Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle (with a "blue flag" label) is only 10 minutes away with its facilities: (beaches, swimming pool heated and supervised from mid-June to September, electric scooters, pedal boats, squash, tennis, children's play area, petanque ground, tree climbing, marked trails for hiking, fitness trail), mountain biking, quad, motorbike, 4x4. You can also take advantage of the Bois Noirs SPA (sensory aqua area, cryotherapy, massages, etc.) as well as bars, restaurants, pancakes, waffles.

- Thiers, capital of cutlery is 30 minutes away (with its half-timbered houses, its cutlery museum) and its traditional knives.
- The volcanoes of Auvergne: the Puy de Dôme site and its panoramic cogwheel train (the highest volcano in the Chaine des Puys Limagne fault, a tectonic site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 02.07.2018.
- Enter the bowels of a volcano with the Volcan de Lemptégy, it offers you the unique and unusual discovery of the anatomy of a 100% natural volcano.
- Vulcania, amusement and entertainment park around the discovery of volcanoes and planet Earth. All this is at 1H-1H30.
- Super Besse and its zip line, the Puy de Sancy at 1:30.
- Vichy: spa town (and its famous pastilles) is 50 min away.

- The lodge of the guards (40mn): offers to young and old fun and sporting activities. Real leisure park, oriented slides and sensations in height for the whole family. All-terrain scooters, zip line waterfalls, downhill karts, tubing, tobogganing in the trees... so many activities to share with the family to have fun, get drunk on thrills and enjoy the landscapes of the Montagne Bourbonnaise as far as the eye can see..

- You can also spend a magical day at LE PAL animal park which is 2 hours from the cottage, this park is known as much for its animals as for its attractions (opening June 2021).

If there is snow:
You can take the opportunity to go sledding with the children, let them discover the snow quietly around the gîte. If you prefer small ski resorts, some are not very far from the cottage, for example:

- the Col de la Charme (20 mins): Small family cross-country ski resort, located in the Bois Noirs, at the Col de la Charme. 40 km of marked trails for all levels are available to you, with the possibility of skiing, snowshoeing and sledding.

- The Montoncel ski center (30 mins): cross-country skiing, sledding, snowshoes for hire by the day.

- Chalmazel (50 mins): With its 15 ski slopes totaling 12 kilometers (or 40 hectares for purists), and its 8 ski lifts (including 1 chairlift), the Chalmazel ski area ranges between 1130 and 1634 meters above sea level. 'altitude.

- the Loge des Gardes (40 mn): A ski resort accessible to all to share with family or friends the joys of the mountains in winter.
The ski area extends from 1050 to 1160 meters at the highest point of the Monts de la Madeleine in a national forest.

With a ski school, the resort is ideal for teaching the little ones the joys of sliding on skis but also for sharing toboggan runs on its dedicated free-access slope.
