Gîte Isabelle

We invite you to stay in our pretty independent gîte on enclosed grounds of 2000 m².

This one is located in the charming little village of Avot, in the brand new "national forest park" of Burgundy crossed by the famous GR7. You will be able to appreciate the calm of this wooded region and relax on site thanks to the infrastructure put in place: petanque ground, adult games area with table football, Russian billiards, darts, children's play area with skittles, shooting pigeons... for the sharpest, a rifle shooting range is there for you.

All this in the old outbuildings of this building, where you will be cool during the hot weather.

Bicycles are lent to you to stretch your legs. Sporty friends you will not be left out, mountain biking, road bikes, trail, walking, the region is full of small roads and marked or unmarked forest paths, really nice and hilly to exercise or simply take a walk. For bikers, the region offers beautiful hilly and winding roads as we like them on motorcycles with very little traffic.

This mainly forest region will make you discover a fauna still intact and you will be able to meet many animals: deer, roe deer, wild boar... without even making the effort to get up at dawn.

The river "la Tille" crosses our village and passes through the whole valley where you can follow these meanders while teasing the trout.

The nearest town is Dijon 30 minutes by car, you can also discover Langres, Chatillon-Sur-Seine, the site of Alise Saint Reine, and a little further Beaune.

All these cities have their own character and architecture, you can discover them during the day and in the evening, find the calm of our village in front of a good barbecue by candlelight.
