The Gîte de la Cascade is located in the horseshoe circus in the heart of the remote Planches-près-Arbois.
The accommodation, fully equipped, includes: a living room with kitchen area (with Dolce Gusto and filter coffee maker) and lounge area (with new BZ), two bedrooms, a bathroom with walk-in shower, separate toilets.
The capacity is 7 people (1 bedroom with double bed + single bed on the mezzanine and 1 bedroom with a 160 double bed and the BZ installed in the living room).
The large terrace and its grassy ground are facing south. It is equipped with barbecue, table and benches to be able to grill, why not trout from the village fish farm, and enjoy the sun.
Your pets will also be welcome and will be able to frolic in the grounds.
A parking space is reserved for you just in front of the entrance to the gîte.
The site is classified for several reasons, Natura 2000, integral biodiversity reserve, decree for the protection of natural habitats, etc.
Starting point for many hikes, fans of unspoiled nature will certainly have the chance to observe the chamois present all year round in the nature reserve and the wild trout in large numbers in the Cuisance which criss-crosses 100 meters from the house.
The nationally renowned Cascade des Tufs is 400 meters from the gîte at the end of a small path through the woods.
Oenologists and other lovers of fine wines will only have 4 kilometers to travel to discover Arbois, the historic stronghold of the Jura vineyards with its many tasting cellars and restaurants typically oriented towards local gastronomy.
You can taste, among other things, yellow wine, morels, Morteau sausage and Comté cheese. (Possibility to place an order for chicken with yellow wine and morels).
In winter, ski enthusiasts will only have a few kilometers to cover to reach the first Jura resorts.
