In the village resort of Albiez-Montrond, cradle of Opinel, at the foot of the Col du Mollard slopes, (35 slopes) Gîte le Sainfoin offers the rental of 2 apartments of 160 m² each to be booked together or independently which can accommodate 12 people per apartment.

Treat yourself to a dream break in this mountain-style chalet with a cozy atmosphere, perfectly located:

- in summer: 400 meters from the lake and the equestrian center and is well located for departures for hiking, mountain biking...
- in winter: there is access 200m to the ski school, kindergarten and Mollard lifts, the snowshoe and cross-country ski trails are 5 mm from the chalet.

The "Sherpa" grocery store, sports and rental shops as well as restaurants are within 200 meters on foot of the chalet, other restaurants and shops are 5 mm by car.

The cottage includes:

- on the ground floor, a large common basement with storage for skis and a hot blower for drying clothes used during ski outings (gloves, shoes, jackets, etc.) as well as a clothes dryer.
- on the 1st floor: a 160 m2 apartment, with single storey access from the outside comprising: 2 double bedrooms, 1 master suite with 1 double bed and 2 single beds (separation by a sliding door but each has a door access to the corridor), 1 bedroom with 4 beds including 2 bunk beds, a washbasin and a shower. The bedrooms are all spacious, they all include a wardrobe, bedside table and lamp.
2 bathrooms, one with bath and WC and the other with shower and washing machine.
2 toilets in total.
A large living room with a fully equipped kitchen: Fridge with small freezing section, traditional oven, microwave, dishwasher, gas hob, family coffee maker and espresso, toaster, kettle, mixer, blender, raclette grill and fondue.

A large dining area with a table that can accommodate 12 guests. A lounge area with flat screen TV, DVD, HI-FI system, wood stove and a large terrace of 15 m2 with a view of the Aiguilles d'Arves and the ski slopes.

On the 2nd Floor: the same layout as that of the 1st with the same services except the wood stove replaced by a fireplace.
For your comfort, disposable underpads will be provided.

Finally on the top floor a large room common to the 2 apartments (120 m²) with table football, table tennis, sauna, shower, WC, 2 exercise bikes and small fitness accessories, lounge with TV for video games, games of company and balcony.

For children and toddlers, there are games and toys and baby equipment (cot, high chair, potty, toilet reducer, changing mat, etc.) please let us know if you have young children in order to to provide you with everything you need.
Each apartment has a spacious terrace with tables, chairs, parasols and deckchairs overlooking the Aiguilles d'Arves, the ski slopes and the mountains.

Parking plowed in winter that can accommodate 4 to 5 vehicles.
Rental: Non-smoking, animals not accepted.

For cyclists and motorcyclists, the cottage is located at the Col du Mollard, a popular destination, many bike races taking place in Albiez such as the Tour de France (2006, 2012 and 2015), the Dauphiné Libéré, La Marmotte, the Tour of the Future, the BRA, the Opinel Race...
The Gîte is open all year round with the possibility of renting the period that suits you on simple request.
