Private infinity swimming pool (8m x 3m) with narrow Roman steps. High above the Messinian Gulf, where sea and sky seem to blur into one, Aliki delivers the kind of view that stops you mid-sentence. From this elevated perch, the coastline unfolds below, the horizon stretching wide and uninterrupted, as if the Peloponnese itself were laid out at your feet.
It’s easy to feel a little god-like here, surveying the scene from your own private vantage point. One of a small group of sister villas, Aliki sits at the highest point and is arranged entirely on one level.
Inside, the look is clean, contemporary and quietly chic, designed to keep the focus firmly on the view.
Open-plan living spaces are framed by wide patio doors that slide back to reveal the infinity pool and sun terraces beyond, creating a seamless flow between indoors and out. Whether you’re eating, lounging or swimming, the panorama is always part of the experience. Two air-conditioned double bedrooms open directly onto the terrace, both enjoying the same uplifting sense of space and light.
One has an en suite shower room, while the second is served by a separate modern shower, making the layout well suited to couples or a small family who appreciate comfort without complication. Below, Mikri Mantineia offers clear waters, Blue Flag beaches and seaside tavernas serving fresh fish, local wine and excellent spit-roast pork.
Further afield, wander the atmospheric ruins of Mystras, explore Ancient Sparta, or glide by boat through the extraordinary Diros Caves.
Pretty Kardamyli is nearby too, famously once offered to Achilles by Agamemnon as a bribe to fight in the Trojan War, and now best enjoyed for its stone houses, seafront tavernas and long lunches with good olive oil. As the light shifts and the coastline begins to glow, Aliki comes into its own once again.
Sea, sky, and a sweeping Peloponnese panorama.
Just as the gods would have liked it. The property driveway, while wide, is sharply inclined. 19 steps lead from the parking area up to the accommodation.
Being located as part of a three with sister villas, Milos (middle) and Andreas (lowest), means Aliki (top) could be a good choice for an extended family or a group of friends who can be near to each other whilst retaining their own individual space and privacy. Please note: The Greek Government charge a Climate Tax which is payable by guests staying in hotels and other properties.
For Aliki the charge is a flat rate of €15 (£13.04) per night.
For your convenience we will add this amount to your booking, rather than you having to pay it in resort.
