Is there space for us to park our car? There’s plenty of space to park at the property, definitely not a worry! Can we use the property for our party? Unfortunately not, it’s a property that’s been in the family for a long time and we’d prefer not to host expansive, rowdy parties.
Small gatherings and events are welcome so long as the activities remain respectful of neighbours and the property itself.

100% recommend! The house is beautiful and spacious for our family of four. We immensely enjoyed the beach location and the view from the conservatory (also seeing the ferry come and go). Great base to explore the island, although we preferred to stay at "our" beach some days, so convenient.

Beautiful quiet beach with fantastic views from several rooms in the house. Private garden. Walkable to Port Ellen and bus stops. Great variety of books on local topics and even Islay monopoly that we enjoyed playing. A great place to make memories.
Very responsive host , any questions were very quickly addressed.

We loved our brief stay here! The location was perfect for walking into Port Ellen and also for walking to some of the distilleries. Having the beach right outside our door was so amazing for our kids, and we all loved watching the ferries come in.
