The separate dining room sits to the rear of the property overlooking the sitting-out area and is a fabulous social space for a real family gathering or celebration! The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of facilities should you wish to dine in.
The owners have carefully chosen the furnishings and colours to reflect the era of this lovely house.
When you’re ready to begin exploring this historic town, begin with a trip to the majestic and famous Alnwick Castle, only a few minutes’ walk, one of the largest inhabited castles in the UK and used for some scenes when filming the ‘Harry Potter’ films, so it’s a must-visit for any fans.
Alnwick Garden is also an exciting visit with its spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, including the Grand Cascade waterfall, poison garden and largest tree house in Europe, where guests can dine in the restaurant.
Alnwick has its own playhouse so check ahead and book a show.
There are numerous places spaced out all over this friendly town to eat in and have a drink.
Heading 4 miles east is the picture-perfect coastal village of Alnmouth where there is a gorgeous golden sandy beach and coloured houses along the estuary.
