Cottage 1 Newcourt is a mews cottage that can be found in Torquay, Devon.
The property is situated within gates and has been decorated with a light and modern feel.
It opens up to an open-plan living room with a fully-equipped entertainment system, including a TV, DVD player, a selection of books and games, ideal for a cosy family night in. There is a dining area for up to four people and a fitted kitchen.
The contemporary kitchen has sleek, black worktops with contrasting white cabinets, housing all equipment you could possibly need during your stay.
Upstairs offers a selection of sleeping arrangements, including a double and twin bedroom, ideal for friends and families.
There is a separate family shower room and WC. The famous seaside town of Torquay is an excellent location to visit, with a number of tourist destinations.
Babbacombe is a district within Torquay and has several beaches, theaters and cliffs available to use. For a day trip as a family, why not venture towards Living Coasts, a coastal zoo owned by South West Environmental Parks.
Let's not forget about Torre Abbey, a historic building and art gallery.
It was founded in 1196 as a monastery for Premonstratensian canons, and is now the best-preserved medieval monastery in Devon and Cornwall.
Also nearby is Kents Cavern, a cave system which is most notable for its archaeological and geological features.
It has been open to the public and was named a geological Site of Special Scientific Interest since 1952. Cottage 1 Newcourt is the perfect place to stay in order to access many of Devon’s finest sights.

Inside, there are two bedrooms: one double and one twin. There is a shower room and WC. Downstairs has an open-plan living room with a fitted kitchen and dining area. Outside there is an enclosed courtyard area with furniture provided. Note: Children below the age of 4 cannot be accommodated, sorry. Off-road parking is available. Splendid location: Fast WiFi, Big TV-set, comfortable beds, hot shower, for summer evenings a private yard to sit and eat outside. A very good location to stay + relax and/or to explore Torbay an the Coast in day trips till Dartmouth an Slapton Sands.
Nice walk to Torquay seaside via the Royal Garden Terraces.

The property was very pleasant but being in our 60 s we found the stairs difficult. Especially as there was no downstairs bathroom. Perhaps you could make it listing a little more specific for accessibility.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were there 5 weeks in total whilst we waited to move into our new home. The property was well equipped with everything we required. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of bedding. Parking was very convenient- right outside the door. The location was ideal - walking distance to town and the sea front.
The host was very responsive and friendly.
