Picturesque cottage located on the river 'Tarn'.
The comfortable and cosy cottage consists of two floors:
The holiday house is located in a unique place in picturesque Castelbouc (St. Enimie), a quiet but lively, traffic-free village, situated on the river Tarn. In the centre of the village, the small square with bread baking/pizza oven is the ideal play area for young and old (where children can play football, badminton, petanque, etc.).
-The cosy and quiet Castelbouc is a few m from a tasty pizzeria, at the bridge there is a campsite (bread in the morning !), two km from the village of Blajoux where there is a small food shop that has all the basic necessities -The village of St. Enimie is a seven-tenths of a mile from the village of Castelbouc. Florac and Mende are the nearby towns where you will also find supermarkets, etc. The area offers something for everyone: -Sunbathing and swimming: you can do this close to the house and on the many beaches along the river.
-Sports and adventure: inexhaustible possibilities for hiking, cycling, kayaking, but also all kinds of guided outdoor activities such as caving, canyoning, rock climbing, horse riding, etc. -Beautiful villages and cosy restaurants: strolling through nice villages such as St Enimie, St Chely, Meyruis, etc.
-Culture: Magnificent caves such as Grotte De Dargilan, Aven Armand, Abime de Bramabiau, as well as numerous interesting monuments and sights including Dolmen and Menhirs, Mont Lozere and Mont Aigoual, the bison park, Gevaudan's wolf park, and so much more.... -Day trips to the coast (La Grande Motte, Sète, etc.), Montpellier, Avignon, Orange, Mont Ventoux, Carcasonne, etc. are among the possibilities.
-The ground floor comprises the living area with built-in fireplace and open kitchen. This is equipped with four electric hobs, and includes all necessary appliances including a microwave (combi) oven and dishwasher. The adjoining bathroom has a toilet, washbasin with cupboard and spacious shower. -The upper floor consists of one spacious room with a double bed (1m60), a bunk bed (2 x singles), an additional washbasin and also has a beautiful view of the river -Spacious separate private terrace near the house (accessible via a staircase across the footpath) - with unique and peaceful view
