A standard contract will be sent to you before any payment is made.
a) It is agreed that if the Tenant withdraws :
Less than 30 days before the lease takes effect, the Tenant forfeits the deposit paid,
More than 30 days before the effective date of the lease, the Landlord shall refund the Tenant's deposit.
b) The Landlord undertakes to refund the deposit paid by the Tenant:
If the Tenant is unable to go to the rental location due to the regulatory measures put in place by the State in connection with the fight against Covid 19 (confinement, isolation, travel ban, etc.).
- If the Lessor is obliged to give up the holiday rental due to the regulatory measures put in place by the State in connection with the fight against Covid 19 (sanitary conditions, ban on rental, etc.). However, this clause does not apply to any other reason for which the Hirer may be prevented from renting (beaches and restaurants closed, personal concerns, etc...).

c) Insurance: The Tenant hereby undertakes to take out insurance against rental risks, theft, fire and water damage and to inform the Landlord as soon as possible if such events occur;
The Tenant is responsible for any damage it may cause to the rented property, whether moveable or immoveable. To cover this risk, the Tenant must provide the Lessor with a certificate of "holiday home" insurance, which is generally included in your main home insurance policy, or ask your insurer for a certificate of "holiday home" insurance.
