The Taaras beach & Spa Resort

Situated off the coast of Terengganu, the luxurious The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort features spacious rooms with a balcony. The resort offers a swimming pool and 4 dining options.

Taaras Beach Resort’s rooms come with modern décor, and are equipped with air conditioning and a fan. Also included in the elegant rooms are a tea/coffee maker and minibar.

Guests can work out in the fully equipped fitness centre, or enjoy relaxing body treatments and massages at the spa. The resort also provides currency exchange services at the 24-hour front desk.

Asean All Day Dining serves local and international cuisine, while MareNero specialises in Italian, Sri Lankan and North Indian cuisine. Other dining options include light ‘beach -friendly’ snacks, cocktails, premium wines and refreshers at The Cove, with an expansive chill-out deck located directly on The Taaras private beachfront.

Taaras Beach & Spa Resort is 45 km from Sultan Mahmud Airport, followed by a 1.5-hour ferry ride from Shahbandar Jetty.

Pets are not allowed in the establishment.
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children from 6 to 11 years old stay for 230 € per person per night when sleeping in an available extra bed.
Additional people stay for 285 € per person per night when sleeping in an available extra bed.
Children up to 2 years old (inclusive) stay free when sleeping in an available crib.
Extra beds or baby cots are only available upon request and need to be confirmed by the property.
Supplements are not automatically calculated in the total amount of the reservation on the site and must be paid separately directly with the establishment.

Cards accepted for booking
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that all guests are subject to a Marine Park Conservation fee upon arrival.
Ferry schedule:
- From Merang Waterfront Jetty to Redang Island (12:30, 14:30, and 16:30)
- From Redang Island to Merang Waterfront Jetty (8:00, 10:00 and 12:00)
