La Marine de Sant'Ambroggio is located between Calvi and L'Île-Rousse on the west coast of Corsica, in the town of Lumio, a very beautiful stone village overlooking the bay of Calvi.
Sant'Ambroggio with its small marina and fine sandy beach is at the heart of Balagne, known for its hilltop villages, olive groves and breathtaking coastline with the sea in all shades of blue and turquoise.

The little Balagne train crosses the village and takes you to all the surrounding beaches between Calvi and Ile Rousse or even further to Bastia, Corte and Ajaccio.

You will find small shops within 100 m (supermarket-caterer, restaurants) in Cocody Village and also restaurant, café, ice cream parlor, butcher, bakery, fishmonger, supermarket, tobacconist, hairdresser, service station and boat rental on the marina of Sant'Ambroggio and boat trip.

For your activities you will find a diving school on the port, tennis courts for rent, pétanque court, boat rental.
Boat trips are offered from the port of Sant'Ambroggio to visit Saleccia beach and Cap Corse / Centuri, La Réserve de Scandola / Girolata and Piana

For beach lovers in addition to the beach of Sant'Ambroggio, to discover the creeks of the Spanu nature reserve 2 km away, the beach of Algajola (known for surfing and sailing) 3 km away and many beaches all along between Calvi and L'Île Rousse.

Sant'Ambroggio is also ideal for walks and hikes in the surroundings and high mountains, 360° view of the coast. The exceptional long-distance footpath, the GR 20, begins in Calenzana, 15 km from Sant'Ambroggio.

If you like nature you can walk in the Bonifatu forest 20 minutes by car or swim in the natural basins of the Fango river 45 minutes away.
