This fully renovated and restored, historic 1912 house is nestled next to the stunning Blue Mountains World Heritage National Park, with walking tracks to the Valley of the Waters and to Leura adjoining the garden.
When staying at Poet's Cottage - Fireplace, Close to Treks you can take a 3-minute drive to the famous Wentworth Falls' waterfall followed by a visit to the historic Wentworth Falls Village and shops. Leura Village, with its cafes, restaurants and boutique shopping is just a 5-minute drive away, while Katoomba is an 8-minute drive away. After a 12-minute drive you will arrive at Echo Point lookout in Katoomba.
Poet's Cottage - Fireplace, Close to Treks offers an open-plan lounge/dining area and a modern kitchen with a microwave, large refrigerator, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. Guests will notice the original polished Baltic pine floorboards as they walk to the main bathroom for a luxury spa bath or shower. There is ducted heating throughout the cottage. For your convenience there is an in-house laundry with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage also has a freestanding Regency fireplace (gas).

The main bedroom and 2nd bedroom have a queen-sized bed in each and the 3rd bedroom has 1 king single-sized bed and 2 single-sized beds. For your entertainment there is a full HD, LCD, LED Smart, TV, VHS, DVD player, CD player and wireless Bluetooth speaker. The verandah overlooks the front garden and has 2 lovebird garden timber seats. There is an outdoor entertainment deck with 2 sling-back beach chairs and a matching table with 6 antique white timber chairs. One of the bedrooms has an original Kauri, ornamental pine fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen in this free-standing house has a microwave, a large refrigerator and a modern dishwasher.
Pets are not allowed in the establishment.
Children of all ages are welcome.Children up to 3 years old (inclusive) stay free when sleeping in an available crib.
