Péniche-logement Besançon citadelle Vauban (UNESCO)

We acquired this former transport barge and transformed it into accommodation in 2008.
Since then, we have lived on board and will happily rent it to you so that you can enjoy the charms of the river and Besançon.

Manufactured in Strasbourg in 1951, our barge today spends calm and relaxing days in the shadow of the citadel of Besançon, a 5-minute walk from the old center (protected area of ​​Besançon) and the 7 hills which surround the loop for walks in nature.

We rent most of the barge, the old converted loading dock: Kitchen-living room-lounge-office/library, 3 bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub and shower, panoramic terrace with view of the river and the citadel Vauban (UNESCO heritage).

Moored on the left bank of the Doubs, at the upstream entrance to the Besançon loop, "L'Eneide" is located in the Rivotte district.
This former suburb, animated by boating activity, is today devoted to arts and crafts and artists (Cité des Arts, La Rodia music hall, Artistic wasteland, arts artisans).

Free parking, bus 20 meters away (bus, tram, train, TGV network), shops, restaurants.
Ideal for cycle tourists, we are on the edge of Eurovélo 6 (bikes can be sheltered and secured).
