Maxerhütte auf der Alfenalm

This traditional wooden chalet is located on the Alfenalm mountain pasture in East Tyrol’s scenic Villgraten Valley, a 10-minute walk from the village of Kalkstein. Guests can start their hikes and ski tours at the doorstep.

The Maxerhütte features 4 bedrooms and a kitchen with a refrigerator and a wood stove. Kitchenware and bed linen are provided, and there are barbecue facilities outdoors.

Free private parking is available at Maxerhütte auf der Alfenalm. A restaurant is available in Kalkstein.

Pets are allowed on request (a supplement may apply).
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children up to 3 years old (inclusive) stay free when sleeping in an available crib.
Extra beds or baby cots are only available upon request and need to be confirmed by the property.
Supplements are not automatically calculated in the total amount of the reservation on the site and must be paid separately directly with the establishment.

Guests will be contacted by the hotel after booking for arranging bank transfer of deposit.

Please note that in winter, snow chains are necessary to reach the property.

Please note that this is a very basic property with only an outhouse toilet. There is no bathroom or shower. Guests can use shower facilities 2 km away. In winter, the water has to be taken from a well outside.

Please also note that between 1st November and 30th April the electricity cos is not included and it has to be paid based on the consumption.Managed by a private host
