Mas de la Grossille

La Grossille / Graussille owes its name to the Occitan “GRAU” meaning “estuary” or “channel”, also used to designate a mountain pass.

The 126 m² gîte, completely independent, located in a wing of this old 17th century building has retained the discreet charm of living memories.
It offers relaxing moments that encourage listening and the discovery of a calm and serene environment.
Its covered terrace opens due south onto a vast landscape and the ancient village of Sainte-Croix-de-Caderle.

The secure 8 x 4 m swimming pool is reserved for holidaymakers at the gîte during their stay. From 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Access to the GR 61 is a stone's throw from the house.
Other routes take you in 1 hour to Mont Brion, the Col du Mercou or Sainte-Croix-de-Caderle via the royal road.

The Cévennes National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and labeled “International Dark Sky Reserve”, is very close by.
From the mountains to the sea, the heritage is rich and just waiting to be discovered: the Maison Rouge Museum, the bamboo grove, the Cévennes train, the Pont du Gard, as well as many other curiosities.

In the library lounge, maps, topo guides and other documents are at your disposal for gourmet, festival or sporting escapades

This restored cottage has a large kitchen opening onto a dining room, three bedrooms, a nice little living room where you can read, write, dream and obtain information.
