40 mins from Le Mans and the 24 Hours circuit, 45 mins from Tours and Vendôme, this house in an almost wild maintained garden welcomes you a few hundred meters from the Bercé national forest which extends over more than 5000 hectares.
Nestled in a small steep valley, not far from the beautiful castle of Bénéhard, it promises you beautiful quiet nights, with no other awakening than that of the birds, and days away from noise and bustle.
Less than 10 minutes by car (30 minutes by bike via the greenway) is the town of La Chartre-sur-le-Loir, a very dynamic city renowned for its many second-hand goods dealers, antique dealers, artists and traditional shops which continue to exist, as well as as well as its Hôtel de France, whose history is intimately linked to that of the Aston Martin, Porsche and Ford teams involved in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This part of the Loir Valley is also a region where the northernmost wines of the Loire Wine appellation are grown: the Coteaux-du-Loir and the famous Jasnières. Cellars and cellars can be visited, including in Chahaignes.
The accommodation has a large bedroom with a double bed in the attic, a smaller one on the ground floor also with a double bed, a single bed in the living room.
Possibility of an additional single bed in the large bedroom.
Small but very clean bathroom, separate WC.
