Welcome to this elegant, authentic mansion, located in the centre of the historic village of Époisses.
Experience Burgundian culture, at the gateway to the Morvan regional natural park.
Époisses is a historic village located in the middle of fields and surrounded by other medieval villages.
It was in this house that the production of the famous Epoisses Berthaut cheese began, a cheese which was recently named the best cheese in the world.
The house can accommodate up to 8 people in its four double bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, winter garden with small lounge, interior garden with terrace furniture, closed garage and bicycles which are made available.
In the village you will find, within walking distance: a bakery, a butcher's shop, a supermarket, a restaurant, a café as well as a tennis court and an outdoor swimming pool.
The Château d'Époisses is at the end of the street.
Époisses cheese is sold in the small square behind the house.
The house is the starting point for wonderful hiking and cycling trails.
Nearby, you will find pretty villages like Semur-en-Auxois (“worth the detour” according to the Michelin guide), Avallon (fortified medieval city); Vézelay (basilica), Bibracte (archaeological site), Alésia (Gallic village), Pré-Lamy (golf), …
Nearby, the Morva Regional Nature Park (20 minutes away) provides the ideal backdrop for hiking and cycling.
