The beaches are also accessible in 30 minutes (Meschers, Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, Royan, the Grande Côte and the Wild Coast).
The small ports of the Gironde estuary are nearby: Mortagne-sur-Gironde, Port Maubert, Vitrezay...

It is also possible to go to the islands of Charente-Maritime: île de Ré, île d'Aix, île d'Oléron, île Madame but also to Bordeaux or La Rochelle.
