Lodge à la ferme - Un lit au pré - La Flocelière

This site is located in the heart of the Vendée in the green countryside, far from the crowds and the city (1h15 from Nantes).
Staying in these pretty country lodges will allow you to disconnect from everyday life. It will also be the time to relearn how to live simply while meeting up with friends or family.

Adeline is a great host. She will take the time to make you love her place of life and her region.
During the stay she will invite you to feed the farm animals (chickens, sheep, goat, pony) and the family will share with you their passion for permaculture.
In spring and summer, you can even witness the birth of chicks or ducklings.

To take advantage of the good products of the region, Adeline has created a farmer's store, perfect for preparing good meals!

On site and with parental supervision, you can swim in the pond, go paddleboarding, take a boat or pedalo ride.
Enthusiasts or amateurs, you can also indulge in fishing.
For the more cautious, Nordic baths can be booked on site. Ideal for enjoying the pretty 100% natural view, between woods and streams.
For children, games are available in the barn and outside (trampoline and swing).

Around the pond, there are 3 lodges for 6 people.
These original accommodations for your holidays with family or friends, have all the necessary comfort. Built with a great eco-responsible conscience, you will find the ultimate luxury of yesterday's simplicity.

Each lodge is composed of:
- a living room, with its beautiful wood stove as its main element for warming up and cooking. To spend convivial moments enjoy a sofa and a large wooden dining table. Everything you need is present to cook good dishes and do the dishes (cutlery, utensil, refrigerated pantry, etc.)
- 3 sleeping areas: one bedroom with a 160 double bed, another with a bunk bed and the last with a 140-size cabin bed, ideal for pretending to be a real adventurer. FYI, the tents offer high quality bedding.
- real flush toilets
- a private shower with hot water
- an outdoor space with a large terrace to enjoy the superb view and its barbecue.

Without electricity, it is by the light of candles and oil lamps that you will spend your evenings, all together, around a good meal. A unique experience in France!

The Vendée is a region rich in its history, its built and religious heritage, but also in its landscapes, its mills and its land.

Go for beautiful walks or bike rides in the Haut-Bocage countryside by taking one of the many marked paths for short and long walks. Take advantage of your stay to visit the castles of Tiffauges, St Mesmin, Pouzauges or La Flocellière, explore the small towns of character such as Pouzauges, Mouchamps, Vouvant, discover the keep of Châtelliers-Châteaumur, the exceptional 16th century murals of the church of La Pommeraie-sur-Sèvre, stroll through the streets of the holy town of Saint Laurent sur Sèvre or even climb the 199 steps to reach the bell tower of Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure where you will have a breathtaking view of the Vendée bocage , since the highest point of the Vendée is here at an altitude of 290m!

Also explore the bocage while having fun, because many tourist sites offer entertainment for families and children such as the Manoir des sciences in Réaumur, the labyrinth in Vendrennes, escape games from 7 years old or the game of trail to the house of rural life at La Flocellière or Pouzauges.

And just ten minutes away by car is the famous Puy du Fou park. An unmissable and extraordinary event for a spectacular journey back in time to the Romans!
