Les Ecuries - Le Bouchet Loire Valley Gîtes

The key to a successful holiday is the choice of location and that's why we know you will have a wonderful holiday at Le Bouchet.
We offer just two gites, each with large private spaces for a restful and relaxing holiday.

Le Bouchet is quietly located in the pretty Touraine countryside, in the Loire Valley, just 5 minutes from the town of Descartes which offers shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and close to the Loire castles and the vineyards of Touraine.

Its green surroundings offer the best playground for deer and rabbits, you will hear the cry of buzzards flying overhead and you will see herons and other birds on the banks of the nearby lake.

We were inspired by this nature to create the gardens at Le Bouchet.

The Stables has been restored from what were the old horse stables and many of the original beams and features have been retained to provide comfortable and spacious accommodation which has been designed to be as disabled friendly as possible and includes:

Up :
- a double bedroom with its own living room and a bedroom with three single beds. Both bedrooms have air conditioning units, fans and hairdryers
- large bathroom with shower, sink, WC and heater

Down :
- a double room
- large bathroom with walk-in shower, sink, WC and heating. Grab bars are provided throughout along with a shower chair. The wet room is tiled with non-slip tiles
- fully fitted, well equipped kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee machine
- open plan living/dining room with comfortable seating and a large table that can easily seat 7
- WiFi internet access
- British and French satellite TV, CD player
- French doors from the living room to a terrace with a pergola, table, chairs and barbecue. This terrace gives access to two other private terraces and also for a ramp giving access to the pool terrace. All terraces are wheelchair friendly and there is also ramp access from the parking area into the gite itself.

You will enjoy large landscaped and flowery spaces which include a large heated swimming pool with a terrace where you can keep an eye on the little ones, a picnic area next to the swimming pool and a games area with a swing, a slide and goals for a game of football.

Our two gîtes have been carefully renovated and will offer you a top-of-the-range holiday with all the facilities you will need.
