The gîte is located at an altitude of 1200m in the hamlet of Lescure which overlooks the Planèze and is the last hamlet before the Col de Prat-de-Bouc and the Plomb du Cantal, which is the highest point of the largest volcano in Europe . You are therefore at an ideal starting point for exploring the summer pastures, meadows and forests by mountain bike, on foot or on snowshoes in winter without having to take the car. During the winter season, you have the opportunity to indulge in cross-country skiing just 2 kilometers away, or to access the Nordic and alpine area of Prat de Bouc which itself allows you to reach the sumptuous resort of Lioran from the tracks.
