Le Shanti Saint Sornin - Le gîte La Marée

The Shanti Saint Sornin is located in the heart of a charming Charentais village.
The cottage La Marée, a typical stone house with its blue shutters, invites calm and serenity in a green setting.

The climate (2nd sunniest region in France), the authentic charm of the Côte Sauvage, as well as the wealth of the cultural and environmental heritage of Charente-Maritime should seduce you.

You have easy access to the beaches of the coast in less than 20 km and you take advantage of the proximity of hiking or mountain biking circuits to discover the fauna and flora, the marshes of the Seudre or Brouage.
In summer, a large swimming pool (6 x 12 m) will also be an asset for your relaxation.

Local shops are quickly accessible 6 km from the Shanti (town Le Gua).

The cottage has an independent entrance which gives you complete freedom to enjoy this beautiful environment, the swimming pool or the wooded park of more than 4300 m². We put at your disposal the private car park of the property.

Located in an old agricultural building built in the 17th century, the restoration of the building has made it possible to preserve the charm of the old and contemporary comfort.

Important: if you only rent one space → High Tide or Low Tide, then you must deduct 25% of the displayed price

Gîte La Marée is a two-storey stone house with three living areas.
This cottage is ideal for stays with friends with its two private and non-communicating bedrooms and a common living room (kitchen).

The Low Tide room, a 34 m² room on the ground floor (disabled access), has a private entrance and direct access to the garden. Equipped with a 180x200 cm bed, a 140x190 cm sofa bed, a bathroom with WC, a desk, a television and a storage cupboard.

The Marée Haute room, a room on the 1st floor of 35 m², has a private entrance and a view of the wooded garden. Equipped with a 160x200 cm bed, a 140x190 cm sofa bed, a bathroom with WC, a television, a desk and a laundry room.

The 20 m² kitchen, annexed to the house, completes this atypical gîte. It is fully equipped to accommodate up to 8 people. Oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine and separate WC.

Garden furniture and sunbeds installed on the terrace are reserved for you and allow you to benefit from the sun from the morning.
Other armchairs and garden furniture located in the park give you the opportunity to enjoy the various flowered spaces.
The swimming pool, which is open from June to September, is shared and we maintain it daily.
