Table tennis Billiards Games roomLe Moulin des Hiboux is an old mill dating from 1830 converted to a gite de vacances in rural Normandy.
The gite is on 3 levels. The main entrance opens into a large lounge/dining room/kitchen with a separate shower room/WC. On the first floor a landing gives access to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with basin and WC. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other can accommodate four people with a king size double and two singles. In the basement is a games room with french doors opening onto a patio and a large grassed area bordered by a stream. English and French TV available in lounge. WiFi throughout.
A short walk away is the village of Fontenay with its bar/shop/restaurant. The restaurant opens at lunchtimes only.
This rural gite is in the heart of the countryside and ideally placed for exploring numerous places of interest. Please see details of places to visit on the French version of this website. (A folder with lots of tourist information is available in the gite).

"Très agréable séjour au moulin"
Belle semaine passée dans ce gîte idéalement placé pour découvrir la région. Il est parfaitement équipé et Muriel et Alec ont été aux petits soins pour nous accueillir. La salle de jeux a été oui très appréciée des petits comme des plus grands. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

"Superbe séjour"
Un gîte cosy, très bien équipé propre. La pièce de vie avec le poêle à bois est tellement agréable, la salle de jeu en bas top. La literie est bonne, le cadre avec les chevaux, le calme de la campagne, le beau terrain que l'on a. Des propriétaires d'une gentillesse, disponibles.

"A gem in rural Normandy"
We were made very welcome by our hosts. The accommodation is very well kept, spacious and well equipped. The games room is a real bonus for all age groups. We enjoyed cycling in the area, there are interesting places to visit nearby and there is a great little shop and cafe just up the road. We wished we had stayed longer - we will definitely visit again.

"Authentique et chaleureux"
Très beau gîte, aménagement très fonctionnel et authentique. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, avec de nombreux rangements. L’espace jeux au sous-sol est idéal pour les petits et les grands ! Nous avons passé de très bons moments de détente et de rigolades avec nos jeunes grâce aux nombreux jeux à disposition. Le jardin à l’arrière est top, au calme. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponibles. Encore merci pour tout !
