Le Mazet - Les Gîtes du petit chemin

This air-conditioned gîte, on the ground floor, is located in a village in the Hérault, in CAUX (5km from PEZENAS).
The main asset of this one is the calm of the places for a relaxing holiday.

The house includes a beautiful spacious living room with equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave...), an atypical dining area on a carpet of cement tiles, a large living room with several sofas and armchairs, TV.

You will have three bedrooms (bed 140x190) including one with its own shower room and wc + second shower room and wc in the gite.

On the relaxation side, you will enjoy two private and fenced courtyards with different exposures:
A south side with dining table under a large pergola and garden furniture for holiday aperitifs.
A second north side with dining table under pergola, near the barbecue.

Parking for your vehicle. The house has Wifi.

The Mazet du Petit Chemin is accessible as its name suggests by a very calm and peaceful street with little traffic. The cottage is surrounded by a fence wall with gate giving access to the cottage and can accommodate 1 car.
Parties and musical evenings not authorized to keep the peace of the place.

The house is equipped with a wifi connection.
On request travel cot and high chair.

You will find near the cottage (2 minutes walk) various local shops (grocery store, tobacconist, press, butcher, bakery, pharmacy, café/bar, restaurant...) as well as several areas for wine tasting.
In the village, petanque ground, football pitch, children's play area, skate park.

7 minutes away, the town of PEZENAS where you will find several "craftsmen" shops which make this town attractive and superb. A large market in the heart of the city every Saturday.

Many sites to discover in the surroundings:
- Lac du Salagou (surfing and sailing), Cirque de Moureze (hiking and climbing).
The Hérault gorges: St Guilhem le Désert, Grotte de Clamouse (canoe, kayak). The Canal du Midi (Béziers and the 9 locks of Fonsérannes).
- Regional Natural Park of Haut-Languedoc. A very beautiful area just 30 minutes drive away, with its stunning gorges and superb walks, hikes, rafting, water sports and carp fishing. Roquebrun (known as “Little Nice”) with its Mediterranean garden of more than 400 species, Les gorges dHéric, the gorges of Colombières.
- We are close to several fine sandy beaches (20km): Vias, Cap d'Agde, Grau d'Agde, Valras, Marseillan, boat trips, fishing.
- Spa resort of Balaruc les Bains and Lamalou les Bains.
- A shellfish tasting around the Etang de Thau towards Mèze, Bouzigues, Sète (many restaurants serving sumptuous platters of fresh shellfish).
- The city of Carcassonne is well worth a visit 1 hour away
- Montpellier is 45 minutes away (Free A75 motorway).
- Spain and the Pyrenees are 1h15 from the gîte.
