Le Clos des Laves was built in 1841. It is a former outbuilding of the Chidrac priory, completely renovated, combining authenticity and modernity.
Today it is a spacious and warm family home, ideal for a stay in Auvergne; it is also an ideal base for discovering the many attractions of the region since its location, close to Issoire in the direction of Mont Dore, is very accessible thanks to the A75 motorway, straddling the Auvergne Volcanoes and Livradois-Forez parks.
Situated in a village of 500 inhabitants, the house benefits from a privileged location, in absolute calm, with its enclosed garden adjoining the small church.
It is possible to walk to the grocery store open 7 days a week as well as to the bakery to buy hot bread or croissants.
The cottage is really comfortable and very well equipped (laundry room, dishwasher, garden furniture, plancha, etc.) to make your stay as pleasant as possible, and allows for single-storey living with two of its three bedrooms and bathrooms located on the garden level.
Bright, it is decorated in “local colors”, with pretty watercolors and especially paintings of enameled lava, specific to the region.
It is a family home that we cherish and that we will gladly share with you.

Excellente expérience au sein de ce gîte très bien aménagé et extrêmement confortable. Nous remercions notre hôte pour sa disponibilité, sa bienveillance et sa sympathie. Notre boule de poils à quatre pattes a apprécié toutes les petites attentions réservées.
Idéalement localisé nous avons pu découvrir tous les charmes de cette belle région.

"TRES BEAU GITE DOGFRIENDLY, PARFAITEMENT SITUE"
Gîte très joli et très bien équipé. Un vrai bonheur de pouvoir venir avec notre chien. Peut être un peu cher quand on est que 2 alors qu'il y a 3 chambres, mais c'était notre choix et nous avons tout de même eu une réduction. Le site est magnifique et l'Auvergne nous a offert ses incroyables randonnées toutes différentes et fabuleuses.

"Superbe gîte dog friendly"
Le gîte est superbe et très bien situé dans les environs de Issoire. Nous y avons passé un bon séjour en compagnie de nos chiennes.
