Ideally located ten minutes south of Sarlat, 900 m from a pretty beach on the Dordogne, Le Petit Manoir de Vitrac is an authentic Périgord property dating from 1887, surrounded by extensive landscaped grounds with a swimming pool. It is reserved for adults and teenagers.
Le Belvédère, an adorable tiny house, is the smallest rental on the property, and the most charming too! From the top of this freestanding turret built of Périgord stone, you have a commanding south-facing view of the manor house, grounds and swimming pool.
The narrow stone staircase (*) leads to the lovely air-conditioned bedroom (13 m²), with its spaciousness under the exposed roof frame and the large window that lights up the sitting area. On the ground floor (13 m²), the layout of the kitchen area is optimised for preparing breakfast and simple meals.
Depending on the weather and personal preferences, meals can be eaten inside, with the table and chairs folded out, or outside on the small private terrace in front of the door, where a barbecue is available.
The spacious bathroom has a rainshower and a heated towel rail for those chilly mornings.
The property's beautiful shared swimming pool, which is unheated and open from mid-May to mid-September, the leisure area with table tennis and pétanque, and the large park are all available to guests.
(*) Le Belvédère is not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties due to the steep and narrow spiral staircase, see photo.
