Location location location!
Quiet chalet that can accommodate 6 people (5 + baby) and welcomes well behaved dogs, with an enclosed garden built around 1900, just 500 meters from Lake Guerlédan, the largest lake in Brittany.

This charming stone house offers comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people (5 + 1 baby) and is less than 1 km from the famous Lac de Guerledan, a stunning 7 mile long lake that offers an abundance of activities for couples and families of all ages.
The property is in the heart of Brittany in the hamlet of Kergoff, tucked away in a beautiful lane offering lovely views and is within walking distance (1 km) of the village of Caurel.

Caurel has 3 restaurants and cafes / bars and a wonderful glass making workshop and gallery where you can book a half day workshop and take home a piece of your own glass work.
There is plenty to do in the area and the chalet is perfectly located for those who enjoy lakes and water sports. Guests can also bring their speedboat as water skiing is allowed on the lake (the French champion) used for training here.
There are at least 5 restaurants around the lake, 3 of them are within 1 km walk from the chalet. There is an accessible cycle path, 500 m behind the chalet.
There is no shortage of swimming, skiing, canoeing, pedalo, fishing activities (not on Lake Guerledan until 2018 since the lake was drained in 2015, the fish have been resupplied, but many other places have been fish), horseback riding, quad rental and for the less energetic, lots of wonderful cafes and restaurants to look at!

Two bedrooms upstairs: a large double bedroom and another bedroom with a triple bed containing a double bed with a single bed on top, offering flexible accommodation options.

Other sleeping options include two beds (see photo) suitable for a child or an adult.

The chalet can comfortably accommodate 5 adults and a baby, but this allows for more flexibility if needed.

There is a private south facing garden which provides a wonderful sun trap. Relax and use the garden furniture on the patio (two sun loungers also provided) and enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine from the bottle of wine offered by the owner, or why not try a local aperitif! You can also enjoy the peace and use the barbecue provided and dine outside.
There is a wet room on the ground floor with a shower, sink and toilet. Upstairs is a separate toilet and sink.

The kitchen is well equipped with stove, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, iron / ironing board and all necessary cooking utensils. There is a new Nespresso coffee machine with 10 pods, further pods can be bought at the local Intermarche supermarket. There is also a dining table in this area and a high chair is also available.

The living room has a comfortable three room suite, with a recliner function if at home from the comforts of home and a beautiful granite fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings in front of the fire. For winter rentals, from October to March, a basket of logs is provided. The living room also has a TV with English channels (no French channels available). DVD player and CD player. There is a large selection of indoor books and games.

A barbecue and garden furniture are provided.

WiFi is available throughout the property.
Private parking. The parking lot is perfect so you can walk to the beaches or restaurants by the lake and leave the car behind.
