Immersed in the peaceful and rural atmosphere of Lot, La Vigne Vierge is a beautiful 18th century stone property located near the small village of Montgesty. Managed by owners Kate and Andrew Lockwood, who live in the adjoining main house, this wonderful, adults-only gite (we do not accept children under the age of 16) offers a haven of peace and quiet, far away the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

La Vigne Vierge offers luxurious accommodation for up to four people with exclusive use of the swimming pool. The cottage has two characterful bedrooms, each equipped with a king size bed and a beautiful shower room. The first bedroom is on the ground floor and has patio doors providing direct access to a patio and garden. The second bedroom is on the first floor and has a large separate dressing room. Moreover, you will find a spacious and comfortable living room as well as a modern and well-equipped kitchen with a dining area offering a magnificent view of the garden.

Outside, set in the large garden, you will find the private swimming pool and many seating areas inviting you to relax and unwind. Choose between the sunbeds and sofa by the pool or between a shady spot under the trees and a wonderfully comfortable hammock. All these corners offer you the opportunity to take full advantage of the sun, to read a book or simply take a pleasant nap after a day full of tourist adventures.

La Vigne Vierge is located a few minutes drive from the villages of Catus (5 km) and Cazals (10 km). Both villages offer you similar basic services, including a bakery, butcher, pharmacy, small supermarket, and cafes and restaurants. Each of the villages also has its weekly market offering a nice selection of fresh local products.

The Lot department offers you a wide range of attractions, which include the charming medieval town of Cahors, many beautiful villages, castles, vineyards, gardens, rivers, caves and excellent hiking trails. Right next door is the Dordogne department which in turn invites you to visit many other sites of great interest.

Our region is rightly renowned for its gastronomy and will delight lovers of good food and good wine. During your stay you will have the opportunity to visit some of the many fabulous restaurants which can be found within a short drive of the Virgin Vineyard; everything from traditional and simple inns to Michelin starred restaurants. We will be happy to make restaurant suggestions and take care of the reservation for you if you wish.
