La Vieille Grange - Maisons La Boissière

Situated in the heart of the Dordogne, La Boissière was once a fortified medieval village, now it is a quiet hamlet on a hill in the Valley of Castles overlooking the Dordogne River.

This quiet rural setting is home to three charming period gites, our large, fully enclosed garden includes a fenced swimming pool with alarm and an additional shallow pool for children. (Opening mid-May and closing at the end of September)

Close to most historic towns, shops, restaurants and a myriad of activities, La Boissière is a 50-minute drive from Bergerac Airport and a 5-hour drive from Paris.

An old renovated barn, situated on an elevated position with panoramic views over the Dordogne and boasting its own private garden, La Vieille Grange, is ideal for families or groups of up to 7 people. Touches of Africa reflect the owners' heritage in this spacious cottage.

Interaction with guests

We interact as little or as much as our customers want. We are always on hand to give you advice on everything the area has to offer, help you book tables and get to the restaurant, as well as breakfast and dinner if required. We also offer a pre-arrival food purchase service and daily delivery of croissants and bread.

We have bikes to borrow to explore our beautiful region, tennis courts nearby and canoeing on the Dordogne and Vezer Riviers on our doorstep.
