The Gîte is located in a listed village. MONTFAUCON is a former
English bastide founded in 1292, built on a promontory.
Village house dating from 1832 that can accommodate 6 people, 130 m² completely renovated 5 km from all shops (in LABASTIDE MURAT). You will enjoy relaxing or having your meals under the arbor (25 m²) and will enjoy the enclosed private garden of 200 m² with lots of flowers. The interior of the house will bring you all the freshness after these beautiful summer days.
The cottage ideally located in the heart of the regional natural park classified as a UNESCO World GEOPARC, near Rocamadour, Padirac, Saint Cyr Lapopie, Cahors with its 14th century Valentré bridge, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the old town and its 12th century cathedral, its Henri MARTIN museum.
In the surroundings: Gourdon, Souillac, Gramat, Sarlat, Lot Valley and Dordogne with its castles and medieval villages.
On the ground floor, living room/lounge area with fireplace, independent integrated and equipped kitchen with pantry (microwave, freezer included), independent WC + washbasin.
Upstairs, a bedroom (1 bed 1.40m, with private washbasin), 2 communicating bedrooms (2 beds 0.90m, 1 bed 1.40m, 1 cot type umbrella and a high chair), bathroom + WC. Electric heating.
