All in the heart of nature overlooking the often babbling river.

Grandrif is a small mid-mountain village, 11km south-east of Ambert, in the Livradois-Forez regional natural park.
You are free to hike there in all seasons around the town and in the mountains, to go skiing, snowshoeing and sledding at the Col des Pradeaux in winter.
It's up to you to discover the nature, know-how and heritage that will be revealed throughout your stay.
You are free to taste the flavors of Auvergne in the local markets and restaurants.
You are free to relax and enjoy the terrace and the surrounding greenery.
You are free to experiment with the waterfall for an unexpected shower on hot days.
You are free to go back 400 years of history by visiting the mills with Christine.

The Moulin de la Passerelle is a place to visit in itself: currently being restored, the site is in fact a group of 5 mills (flour, oil, pins) built more or less on top of each other, the first of which probably date back to before the 18th century.
The millstone and flour mill visible today are the heirs of the other 3. A visit that Christine will be happy to comment on for you if you wish.

The footbridge above the mills was the place where bags of seeds and freshly ground flour were exchanged. Singing and babbling of the water guaranteed.
