La Miellerie

My old honey house, very nicely transformed, on the ground floor of a barn renovated in eco-friendly materials, in the quiet little village of Montfroc, Jabron valley (Drôme, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), land of lavender , aromatic plants, linden, bees, shepherds! the mountain of Lure (inspired by Giono) dominates the valley.

This luminous space, very recent, is a very beautiful apartment of 60 m² including
- a beautiful and spacious bright kitchen where there is a large round table that can be extended generously
- a large bright bedroom with a new convertible sofa in 160 and a very comfortable mattress; in this room different spaces exist including a bench made of several mattresses (including a futon) in 90; ideal for children, friends, hikers; 4 mattresses can be placed on the parquet and carpet floor.
Charming bathroom, with large Italian shower, the toilets are separate.
East-West Expo
In front of the house on the west side a beautiful garden table where you can eat surrounded by my flower pots.

Description of the neighborhood:
Very beautiful rural village (an enclave of the Drôme in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence west of Sisteron), exceptional and biological environment.
Calm and rejuvenating. Very close to different places of culture, restorations (gourmet restaurants in Mees and Cruis that I recommend 35 € the menu)
Concerts, festivals (including that of Avignon), peasant festivals, summer festivals in the surrounding villages
Night market in the summer in my village of Montfroc, Thursday from 5 p.m. with the pizzaïolette
10 min away, Friday morning market in Saint-Vincent-sur-Jabron
20 minutes away, Saturday morning market in Lachau

Taïchi Stevanovitch center 20 min away Saint-Vincent, AUBARD
Yoga 5 min from Montfroc at the Moulin de la Viorne
Spa treatment in Montbrun-les-Bains 1/2 hour away (body care and relaxation for all visitors)
Also close to the Luberon, you can quickly access the ochres of Roussillon, Gordes, as well as the Apt market on Sunday mornings

The large Forcalquier market, on Mondays, is to be discovered
The markets of Buis-les-Baronnies and Nyons with these olives from which the famous oil is made

30 minutes from the bus and SNCF stations in the town of Sisteron.
TGV station in Avignon, possibility to get to Montfroc from Avignon for a reduced cost by calling the Nyons tourist office to register for an Avignon Carpentras shuttle and a Carpentras Montfroc taxi, I believe the taxi asks 5 € and he leaves you in front of my house
Aix-en-Provence TGV station then bus to Sisteron where you can rent a car and then go up the Jabron valley

I am a plant gatherer and I still have a few hives left; I like to tell you all about it
I am a good cook and can offer you meals in organic Provencal and oriental cuisine
I am a visual artist and for 34 years I have been creating, currently and since 2012 I have been engraving; this space is also a small gallery of my creations; I also like to tell about all these sensitive steps
I would add that it is not difficult to park; sometimes even in front of the house
