Situated in the heart of the Dordogne, La Boissière was once a fortified medieval village, now it is a quiet hamlet on a hill in the Valley of Castles overlooking the Dordogne River.
This quiet rural setting is home to three charming period gites, our large, fully enclosed garden includes a fenced swimming pool with alarm and an additional shallow pool for children. (Opening mid-May and closing at the end of September)
Close to most historic towns, shops, restaurants and a myriad of activities, La Boissière is a 50-minute drive from Bergerac Airport and a 5-hour drive from Paris.
A beautiful restored Perigord house overlooking the Dordogne River located in the heart of one of the most beautiful regions of France. Sleeps six the house has a huge suite and two attic double bedrooms. The house also has its own private balcony.
Space :
The house is located in the charming bastide of La Boissière, overlooking the valley and the Dordogne river. Local shops and amenities are very close by and attractions such as prehistoric caves, markets, vineyards, bastide towns, castles and castles, are all on our doorstep.

A beautiful shared swimming pool in a secure garden and everything the Dordogne valley has to offer is on your doorstep.
Interaction with guests:
We interact as little or as much as our customers want. We are always on hand to give you advice on everything the area has to offer, help you book tables and get to the restaurant, as well as breakfast and dinner if required.
Other things to note:
We have bikes available to explore our beautiful region, tennis courts nearby and canoeing on the Dordogne and Vezer Riviers on our doorstep.
Please note that La Maison Périgourdine is not suitable for children under six years old due to a very steep staircase.
