La maison blanche - La Garenne Family Gites

6 gîtes, independently renovated, in an old fortified farm in the beautiful and relaxing Charente-Maritime countryside.
Each gîte has been renovated with French and Scandinavian charm, but benefits from all the comforts one would expect from a quality gîte.
Each gite has its own private patio overlooking the shared garden and swimming pools.
Some cottages also have a private garden at the back.
There you will find two heated swimming pools enclosed with fence and security barrier.
There are plenty of loungers and a shaded area with a sofa around the large swimming pool.

The White House is a ground floor gite and our latest renovation. From your private terrace you enter into a bright and airy open space with exposed A-frame rafters. The kitchen is at one end of the room. At the other end of the open space you have a dining room and a small lounge area. From the living room you again have a master bedroom with exposed ceiling. The second bedroom with bunk bed is at the other end of the property as well as a family bathroom fitted with a freestanding bath and walk-in shower.

Children love the freedom in the secure enclosed garden with playground and many activities as well as the 2 swimming pools. One of the swimming pools is shallow and specially designed for younger children.
