La Grace - Les Trois Petites Maisons

We offer 3 cottages (1 x 1 bed, and 2 x 2 bed) which have been lovingly restored, retaining original features wherever possible and furnishing them in a stylish and quality manner.

La Grace is a 1 bedroom cottage, it offers a comfortable, relaxed and romantic feel. You enter through the front door into a good sized kitchen/living room, with attractive painted freestanding kitchen units, cooker, washing machine, Belfast sink and tiled floor. A beautiful inglenook style fireplace with a wood stove.

Heading upstairs you enter a stunning mezzanine bedroom, four poster bed, exposed A-beams, 3 windows so the room is flooded with natural light, with an en-suite shower room with a shower unit Good sized sink and toilet.

From the living room you have a door to the rear garden, with a seating area with an outdoor table and chairs and a barbecue in front of our wonderful 10 x 5 meter swimming pool, with plenty of sun loungers.
with plenty of deck chairs and large umbrellas. For security, our swimming pool is equipped with an alarm.

The cottages are set in grounds of approximately 1.5 hectares, with landscaped front gardens and a lazy winding path leading to the road, which is a stone's throw from Lake Mondon (see below for amenities).
Our rear garden has been transformed by a 10 x 5m (4ft depth) in-ground swimming pool and sunbathing terrace, there are exterior shingled areas for each cottage where hours can be spent relaxing and unwinding. rejuvenate or read a book, with a glass of wine in the shade of large parasols.
For the more adventurous, just a 2-minute walk away, opposite the lake, is a shared swimming pool with water slides.
On the lake there are pedal boats for rent and, in high season, there are often donut boat rides. This site also offers tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts and bowling games. (all these amenities are subject to payment).
There are also many beautiful woodland walks along the banks of the La Benaize River, with waterfalls and prehistoric rocks (dolman), where you will find an abundance of flora and fauna.
For fishing enthusiasts, a "fishing card" can be purchased for a half day, a full day or a weekly ticket.
Two restaurants and bars overlooking Lake Mondon are within walking distance of our cottages.
There are local shops and supermarkets within a 5 mile radius, or for the larger supermarket there is La Souterraine or St Benoit.
Our cottages are approximately 10 minutes drive from junction 22 of the A20.
