What I really like is the central island in the kitchen and the brick wall.
Interior completely redone around fifteen years ago, when it was my main residence. Very quiet, conducive to relaxation and rejuvenation, on the edge of forests, numerous walks or jogging.
On the way to Santiago de Compostela Voie de Vézelay, the house is equidistant between Nevers, Cosne-sur-Loire and Clamecy, less than 20 minutes from the A77 exit La Charité-sur-Loire towards Auxerre.

"superbe séjour à Mauvrain"
Séjour de 3 nuits à la chaumière de Mauvrain. Très bon accueil de Laurence, gite confortable, propre et situé au calme dans un écrin de verdure. Deux familles avec enfants. Balades possibles à partir du gite, proche guedelon. Belle découverte de la charité sur Loire : à voir. Nous conseillons ce gite pour séjour en famille, ou entre copains.
