La Belle Arverne - Le Mouflon, gîte pour 5 personnes

La Belle Arverne, an old stone inn built over a hundred years ago, is located in the heart of the village of Albepierre-Bredons.

The apartment is on the first floor of the house, with stunning garden and mountain views. Bright and spacious, it consists of a living room opening onto a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and two toilets.

Albepierre-Bredons, a small village nestled between two valleys, in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park and in the heart of the largest volcano in Europe, the Cantalien Volcano.
This village bears its name well, everywhere where the gaze arises one can see…. of stone.
Present on houses and farms, it is found on roofs, crosses, oratories, bread ovens and fountains. Rivers, waterfalls and forests are also omnipresent, and transport you out of time: a real little paradise for lovers of nature, calm and authenticity.

Many hiking trails on foot, by mountain bike or on snowshoes start from the village.

At the bend of a path you may see a roe deer, a deer, a deer, and why not mouflons in the early morning in the Cirque de Chamalières. Stay tuned and get your binoculars ready!

The Col de Prat de Bouc is located 4 km from the house. In winter, the area offers many activities and snow activities: ski touring, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, igloo area. it is also a gateway to access the ski area of the alpine resort of Lioran.

In summer, the area unveils its hiking trails (GR400, GR465, GR 4) or mountain biking (variant of the GTMC), its climbing sites,... Whatever the season, this site remains a strategic point to reach the highest point of the department, the Plomb du Cantal (1855 m).
