My house is in Léognan (10,000 inhabitants), with 10 beautiful oak trees and a river at the bottom of the garden, the last house in a dead end, so very quiet, it's a little corner of paradise, with visits from squirrels and 30 species of birds, a vegetable garden, just 1.2 km from the city center.
It is 167 m²: it has a large kitchen (20 m²), a living room with a baby grand piano, 6 bedrooms with sleeping for 2 people in each, 2 bathrooms, 2 separate toilets, a mezzanine, a games room and a very pleasant covered terrace.
The house keeps cool very well in summer thanks to the trees which partly shade the roof and the presence of the river which remains cool.
The house is located in the small town of Léognan, 10,000 inhabitants, 15 km south of the center of Bordeaux, a town which has more than 20 wine properties, and which is part of the AOC Pessac-Léognan. You can visit most of these properties, some of which are classified as historic monuments.
It is a very pleasant town, renowned for its weekly Saturday market with 80 traders, one of the largest in the region, with quality products at reasonable prices.
