Motorcyclists welcome Gîte Violette et Pierrot classified 3* in a small town of 3500 inhabitants
We are located at the foot of the Ballon d'Alsace at 19 km where you can make beautiful hikes.
50m from the gite there is a cycle path which goes to the upper valley as well as to the lower valley.
There is also a playground for children.
The town center of Masevaux is very flowery in summer and well decorated during the Christmas markets.
Everything can be done on foot as well as everyday purchases.
On Wednesday morning there is the weekly market and from April to September from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. there is the farmer's market with local products.
You also have a Leclerc supermarket with a gas station and an Aldi store.
From April to September you can go to our farm inns which offer you our regional dishes including the marcaire meal.
Belfort 20 km away to visit the citadel with its lion
Mulhouse at 30 km with its museums (automobiles, train, printing on fabrics, electropolis etc.
Colmar at 60 km with the little Venice, the old town, and its half-timbered houses.
Very touristy town as well as Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Eguisheim favorite village of the French, the Château du Haut Koenigsbourg, the gingerbread palace in Obernai and the capital of Alsace Strasbourg, as well as the Alsace wine route

"Bienvenus en Alsace"
Violette et Pierrot nous ont accueillis de façon très chaleureuse dans leur gîte, qu'ils ont parfaitement rénové il y a quelques années. Tous les équipements nécessaires y sont, les commerces sont tout proches.
Le kougelhopf offert à notre arrivée, le fleurissement du village, les délices servis dans les fermes auberges des alentours ont fait honneur à la réputation de générosité des alsaciens.
Les conditions étaient donc parfaites pour découvrir la vallée de la Doller et ses magnifiques forêts.
