This secluded and charming old property is part of a 13th century Mas set on a corner of the village of Camelas with far reaching views of the local mountain.

The property has been tastefully renovated over the last 10-15 years by the British owners. There is a modern, fully fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar and a lovely lounge and dining room opening onto a terrace and the garden.

The garden is spread over 3 levels and includes a 10m swimming pool and a terrace for outdoor dining.

The property has four double bedrooms and sleeps 8 people comfortably. There are two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite with a bath and the other is a shower room. There is an additional toilet, which makes 3 in total.

The town of Thuir is 10 minutes by car with all amenities. There is a bakery 5 minutes away by car. There are plenty of things to do in the area, including walking straight from the house or further up the estate into the mountains.

The Mediterranean is just 40 minutes away with a wealth of beaches and watersports. You can take the little yellow train in the Pyrenees and marvel at the spectacular views. There are medieval towns like Villefrance de Conflent, markets in Thuir and Castelnou and lots of rafting and canyoning activities.

The property is rented for the summer period for a minimum period of 7 days.

Check-in and check-out day is Friday.

The house has steep stairs, low beams and a terraced garden and is therefore not really suitable for children under 8 or people with reduced mobility.
