Bocce ball court Hiking trails FishingOur cottage is the dwelling house of an old renovated 17th century farmhouse, in MARGERIDE, at the entrance to the Lozérien rural village of LAUBIES, at 1000 meters above sea level, between Mende and Saint-Chély-d' Apcher, just 15 minutes from the A75.
6 bedrooms, 3 shower rooms, 4 toilets.
Solid wood flooring and exposed beams in all bedrooms.
This large gîte, classified 3 ears of corn with GÎTES DE FRANCE, with an area of approximately 200 m², can accommodate 12 people.
You will find the charm and character of the old houses of the MARGERIDE but with all the comfort you expect: 3 shower rooms and 4 toilets. Wi-Fi access.
• on the ground floor: very large living room with equipped and modern kitchen open to the dining room and the living room. Huge fireplace on the living room side with large wood stove and pellet stove on the dining room side, a small shower room with WC and washbasin. Also an adjoining room with storage and an additional fridge/freezer and washing machine.
• upstairs: 3 beautiful bedrooms each with a 140 double bed, including 2 bedrooms with their own shower room and WC.
• 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms with 1 140 cm bed and a dormitory area with 4 90 cm beds. Large shower room and WC.
Pellet stove as main heating plus fireplace with large wood stove for the pleasure of the fire,
electric heaters in bedrooms and bathrooms.
Sheets and towels are provided.
End of stay cleaning is charged.
Terrace in front of the house with garden furniture, barbecue, garden, parking, large closed garage for bicycles, motorbikes, quads...
No adjoining, no noise, unobstructed view of pastures and nature.
Swimming in summer at the nearby Ganivet lake or at the river accessible on foot at 500 m.
The cottage is very close to the cross-country ski resort of La Baraque des Bouviers, Lake Ganivet and Lake Charpal or Lake Naussac.
Numerous hiking trails, starting from the gîte, on foot, by bike, by motorbike, by quad or on snowshoes in winter.

Nous réservons ce gîte toutes les années depuis 3 ans maintenant et nous n’avons jamais été déçu
Gîte magnifique avec une ambiance chaleureuse
Idéale pour nous groupe d’amis qui aimons nous retrouver le temps d’un week-end pour une cueillette champignons autour d’un verre
Didier est à l’écoute de nos demandes ce qui est très agréable

"La Lozère telle qu'on l'aime..."
Le gîte est conforme en tous points à la description. Nous étions 11 amis et le gîte de Didier est absolument parfait pour ce genre de groupe.
Le RDC est vaste, convivial, chaleureux. La cuisine est ouverte avec un équipement parfait. L’étage avec ses nombreuses chambres et salles de bain permet d’avoir de l’intimité.
Didier est très prévenant, il avait fait un feu dans la cheminée. Il nous a aussi conseillé des restaurants incroyables, ne ratez surtout pas "chez Guy Laroche" à Serverette.
Si vous avez envie d'une petite escapade en Lozère, ce gîte est idéal et vous comblera.

"Un petit coin de paradis"
Nous avons passé un séjour absolument incroyable dans ce gîte Lozère bleu.
L accueil de Didier a était particulièrement chaleureux, attentionné et toujours disponible.
Le logement était impeccable, très confortable, très bien équipé et décorer avec beaucoup de goût.
Nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la nature, des paysages magnifiques mais aussi découvrir des petits producteurs locaux sur les conseils de Didier.
Nous repartons ressourcer avec l envie de revenir très vite.
Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte à tous ceux qui cherchent un petit coin de paradis Merci Didier

"Un lieu authentique pour une mise au vert réussie"
Nous sommes un groupe de 7 amis venus (re)découvrir la Lozère.
Le gîte est parfaitement situé. Il est rénové avec goût, spacieux, confortable et très bien équipé.
L'accueil est chaleureux et attentionné.

"Merci Didier"
Nous sommes un groupe de 7 qui roulons en motos anciennes , nous avons pu ranger nos motos dans un grand garage et tout s'est très bien passé Didier le propriétaire est très gentil, rend service sans problème. Le gîte est très agréable c'est calme il y fait frais à 1000 mètres la nuit donc on dort bien (excellente literie). Si vous souhaitez passer un bon moment en famille ou avec des amis c'est la qu'il faut venir à quelques kilomètres de l'Aubrac du Gévaudan et le meilleur pour la fin la Margeride. "So charming and comfortable. A real gem."
We spent a really lovely few days in this wonderful gite. It has been totally renovated respecting the history of this area. It is comfortable and clean. The bedrooms are spacious and light. We particularly appreciated the huge stone fireplace with its woodburning stove where we spent some fun evenings. We can highly reccomend this place.
